Stefano’s has been a staple of our lbi summers for as long as I can remember. Consistently the best Italian food on the island.

Best dining experience we have had in a long time. The dishes were generous sizes and beyond delicious. The Mediterranean calamari was the perfect twist on a classic app and so flavorful. The filet luna was cooked exactly as I asked and the chunks of crab meat on top were very fresh. For dessert we had the cheesecake filled sugar almond cone and it was by far the best dessert we’ve ever had at a restaurant. Our waitress Ava was phenomenal..she was so friendly, attentive and never hesitated with an answer to any of our questions. Would definitely recommend this spot for a date night and we will be returning for sure!
Back from a week at LBI and this place is our favorite place to eat a great meal. Every year this is probably our favorite place. You won’t be disappointed if you go. Be back next year. I had the pesto seafood over penne. Excellent. Wife had veal with crabmeat and raved about it til we cam home. The dessert was marvelous. Would go everyday if it were up to me
The chicken parmigiana was good, and the garlic steak had great flavor. The shrimp appetizer was tasty. Dessert was just average.
BYOB - make a reservation! Charming buzzing restaurant with a great vibe and great food. Can’t wait for the season to start to come back and dine again!
Second time here and a big fan. I was impressed with quality of all our dishes and the price. For contrast I ate at Raimondos and Dune 18 this same week, ordered similarly and thought all three of similar quality but Stefano’s was 2/3 the price and worth every penny. My salmon imperial was cooked perfectly and a meaningful amount of crab with a good portion of lobster mash. My wife’s scallops were also great and the risotto was excellent. Kids enjoyed their dishes as well. BYOB.
Our waitress Bella was a delight and very knowledgeable of the menu. The food was delicious. I had scallops with the tomato asparagus and spinach risotto. My husband had the lambchops with garlic mash potatoes Both dishes were awesome. Love that's its byob also. Will return and recommend.
We went to Stefano’s for the first time a few nights ago. The food was delicious, but the atmosphere and staff really put a damper on the whole experience. The servers all looked genuinely miserable and the manager didn’t crack a smile once while we were there, but instead scolded one of the hostesses because she wasn’t carrying a chair correctly. It was a shame to see. As someone who has both worked and eaten in fine dining establishments, I know that good quality food is important, but the general feel of the place really makes the experience. We unfortunately will look elsewhere next time for a more welcoming spot.
